About Author Stephenson Holt.

Stephenson Holt is a published author of fiction with mainly female characters that are strong and take lead roles.  A trilogy (Waiting For Kitto, Kitto's Angels and Behind Greek Doors) can all be read as seperate entities, or as the good value trilogy eBook  Three Girls Trilogy  These novels all have trigger warnings because book one involves the capture by a woman of a serial rapist and later some drug dealers, book two deals with infidelity and catching a woman's husband out and the revenge she takes, and book three involves a drugged woman and multiple rape and was written a long, long time before the harrowing case of the French woman who took her perpetrators to court.

These novels accompany three other stand-alone novels; The Tenhouse Girl, Moving On and finally the steampunk version of Romeo And Juliet which fol.lows the play by Shakespeare but in novel form and imagined in a world with swords, clockwork birds, and a dictatorship where you are watched over by air balloon.

A series of Vampire Romance novels, that are different to the normal bloodthirsty titles in the genre. Greek Island Vampires, Greek Mainland Vampires and Greek Cypriot Vampires have been described as dark and erotic so those with sensibilities should avoid them. The premise of all three books is that being bitten by a vampire does not turn you, but if you are made love to by three different vampires then you do turn.

A Duology; Love Me In Luxor and Daphne's Egyptian Honeymoon are novels that almost share the same time period as each other and see a  story of 1920s emancipation from the standpoint of two different women, one modern, one conemporary. A couple accidentally travel back to the nineteen-twenties and influence women's rights just after World War One.

In a different genre, young cousins Janice and Shelagh, witches who can read possible futures, battle vampires using a boy  they both fancy caled Daniel, in the novel A Boy For Two Witches. This and  the sequel, Arranged Marriage were both getting good reviews and that prompted The High Heel Revenge Pack featuring the daughters of Janice and Shelagh - Skye and Monique now in their thirties and combatting evil and then, later, a follow up novel where their friend, Pamela, is kidnapped called Satis-faction as Skye is in a faction that worships the goddes Satis. Skye's daughter, Skyritus appears in the cross-world novel Skyritus-Uluru.where Skyritus lives in a female dominated world, is kidnapped into a land where males try to reestablish the male domination they had read about in history books, and it is the job of Skyritus and her companions to stop that attempt.

Changing genre completely, a collection of poetry and small prose Evolution In Sand was published in August 2021 and a year later a larger collection of poetry and short stories was published as No Reason To Rhyme.

Throughout 2022, three Science Fiction, come Science Fantasy novels were published, variously described in reviews from the US, UK, Germany and India as, bonkers,  sexy,  mind bending,  mad,  witty, erotic, fast moving, well-written, and entertaining. They each follow genres where if you know the references then it helps to read along with a chuckle. The Crantis Marcian Trilogy consists of; AlienAffair,  AlienAbduction and AlienAssimilation.

Returning to Romance with action, The Katie's Journey Series was started with What Katie Didn't Know followed by What Katie Did In Italy and Katie Went To The Regency Ball. The follow-up Katie In The Dark Ages was followed by popular demand with Katie Mingles with MI5 and finally Katie In Egypt with MI6. Each book was written with Katie finding more and more that she could use her sexual attraction to manipulate men to her advantage, eventually employing that in her undercover work.

In 2024 the author Stephenson Holt was diagnosed with terminal, stage 4, prostate cancer and the stage 4 refers to the cancer spreading via the lymph system to other parts of the body, in my case to bones. Presently the testosterone that feeds the cancer has been almost nullified by injections and tablets and we haven't reached the radiotherapy or chemotherapy route yet. I mention this because it has inspired two books in particular. Fishing Lures For Prostrate Problems was written in Cornwall, shortly after diagnosis and details a week's fishing while my family holidayed in Greece, because I was unable to fly. My next novel was There Must Be Daffodils which has the subtitle of being a cosy clean love story. Two strangers meet, neither wants a relationship, because the woman has just come out of an abusive time with a bully husband and the man is being treated for the above cancer and is unable to have a normal sexual relationship because of the treatment he in undergoing.

Author Stephenson Holt - more info.

Stephenson Holt is an author that physically writes between 5am and 8am each morning, leaving that word-painting to sketch and dream for the rest of the day. Sometimes he returns into normality but not for long periods. For most of his life he is constructing one novel while sketching the next novel – it keeps the mind fresh.

His favourite sketch and dream places are;-

I.

Lying on a beach listening to the waves.

II.

A favourite armchair in the conservatory with heavy rain falling on the roof.

III.

Standing in a hot shower, staring at a tiled wall.

IV.

Sitting next to a canal where he used to fish as a boy.

V.

Motorway driving.

VI.

That chair in the corner of the greenhouse, shielded from the sun by that grapevine and looking out at the olive tree, full of bird feeders.

VII.

Gardening with a corner of his eye on the sparrow returning to the nest in the eaves above him and imagining he’s the sparrow looking down on himself.

When stuck for inspiration he will;-

I.

Listen to an episode of “The Invisible College” a series of ten minute podcasts from BBC Radio 4 that sit nicely on an iPod.

II.

Listen to a three album collection converted to CD of Jack Kerouac reciting and backed by either piano or saxophone. Including “Poetry For The Beat Generation” and “American Haikus.”

III.

Fight like a superhero bad-guy with a  young  grandson.

IV.

Walk in the hills near his home without bumping into anyone else.
